Costs

We believe in offering assistance at sensible prices. Don't hesitate to call or email us, as we are here to help.

We offer the following:
  • Initial telephone or email inquiries at no cost.
  • Review and advice on almost any employment law issue for a low fixed rate cost. This service is available as a one off and it is available by email or telephone. We will give you as much help as possible  and advise you on your rights, the options, and the merits of your case (maximum of 1 hour of our time). The advice is confidential and without further obligation. This  is also ideal for the review of employment agreements (cost includes a full review of the agreement and of any difficult clauses (for example: restraint of trade issues) and a written report to you on our recommendations).
  • Employment disciplinary meetings: If possible, we prefer to offer a fixed rate for us to attend a meeting with you. The benefit of a fixed rate is that you know exactly where you stand financially. For most employment meetings our fixed rate is $500 - $1,000 including GST (the cost includes meeting with you prior to the meeting and attending the meeting with you. We do not charge extra if the meeting takes extra time). In many cases, whatever the issue was is fully resolved at the meeting, which means that you will have no extra costs to pay for representation. If you have  a meeting coming up please contact us to confirm a fixed rate quote tailored to your situation.
  • For ongoing representation, costs are based on our competitive hourly rate - or we may be able to offer a fixed rate fee. We are happy to discuss flexible payment arrangements. For some cases it may be possible for payment to be made at the end of the case, for other cases a deposit may need to be paid for part of the costs. Time payment arrangements may also be possible   Costs will be discussed with you before you  proceed, to ensure that you are happy.
  • We offer a no win no fee arrangement in some cases.
  • We accept credit cards and PayPal.
